Q: What words could quickly render your personality?
A: A careful person, visionary, principled, never
giving up, yet melancholic.
Q: What thing that you mostly like from yourself?
A: That because I read and learn much,
I have visions in my life. This always makes me feel alive and confident when I am amidst the others. After that, usually
I will then exert my efforts to reach what I have dreamt of.
Q: What thing that you don't really like from yourself?
A: That because I am too careful, sometimes
I deliberate things too long, before I can decide which step I should take.
Q: What things do you think have contributed to shaping you?
A: The books that I read, my close
friends, and my family.
Q: Of all, what are your in-depth interests?
A: Architecture and languages.
Q: Why are you interested in languages?
A: If you understand, language is actually a form of art. It
can much tell about the people who speak it. For example, the accent of a language can tell about the character of the people
speaking it. Its vocabulary can tell about how wide the knowledge those people have on their surrounding. And its grammar
can tell you about the system of the people's thinking process. To me, the real joy of speaking a foreign language can
only be felt after we try mastering perfectly the language's every aspect, from its grammar, vocabulary, to
pronunciation, as its native people do.
Q: How did you begin your interest in languages?
A: I began my interest in languages in junior high
school. At that time I read much about the history of ancient people, such as the Britons, Teutons, Franks, Celts, etc. Later
this spurred my interest to know further about the languages they spoke too. Not so long after I finished my formal English
study in language course (Upper Advanced, last level) in junior high school, I began learning another foreign language autodidactically.
However, I still maintained and even expanded my English proficiency to high standard English, Classical English, and Mediaeval
English.
Q: What were your other hobbies in junior high school?
A: Viruses programming. When I entered junior
high school, I found and founded a small gang of computer maniacs. The introduction of the computer and the DOS at school
at that time drove the curiosity of some students -us- into even more complicated subjects: the computer system and its programming
languages.
By using batch programming language and BASIC language at that time, we developed our viruses. One of us who was good at
ASSEMBLY language compiled our virus codes into executable files. I can still recall when I sometimes had nothing to do at
Saturday night and I spent it with coding virus in front of my computer from night to morning. The next day, I put that virus
and the viruses already made by my friends in a match: which one could destruct the tested computer system quicker and more
effectively?
Q: What do you do in your spare time?
A: Gathering with my family, watching TV, DVD, reading books,
digital encyclopaedias, surfing on the net, or going with my friends to places we usually never visited before.
Q:
What are your favourite natural places?
A: Mountain (where I can feel so fresh, so "high", so close to heaven,
and away from worldly problems), sea (where I feel that the world is so wide when I see the horison), and jungle (where I
can really feel myself back to nature).
Q: What is your ultimate dream in life?
A: Living with my family in material and spiritual happiness.
Q: What kind of girl do you like?
A: One who is attractive, smart, cares, and loyal with me.
Q: What place on Earth do you want to visit?
A: I want to visit: 1) Turkey, for its great mosques and
amazing Ottoman history (Thank God, He has fulfilled this), 2) Persia/Iran, for its charming One Thousand and One Night's
tale and blue beautifully calligraphed mosques, 3) Japan, for its wonderful sceneries and strong traditional culture, 4) England,
for its mediaeval knights, castles, and old cities, and 5) Spain, for its exotic atmosphere. I want to see the real flamenco
dance there. =)
